Golf in Santo Domingo

The golfing in the Dominican Republic is so spectacular that many visitors are drawn here just to play the game in this fabulous setting. With sloping hills, scenic views, and ocean breezes, the courses around Santo Domingo have been designed by some of the world's biggest names in golf. You may be tempted to stay long enough to try them all!

Casa de Campo's three championship 18-hole courses in the southeast region of La Romana, are all designed by world-famous golf course architect, Peter Dye.

Golf Magazine has rated the par 72 Teeth of the Dog, which fronts the Caribbean Sea on seven holes, as one of the world's top 20 golf courses.

Over in Juan Dolio is the Metro Country Club, which opened in 1995, and features the 18-hole, par 72 Los Marlins course. Los Marlins was designed by the award winning, internationally acclaimed golf course architect, Charles Ankrom.

The Talanquera Country & Beach Resort in Juan Dolio has the Guavaberry Golf & Country Club, an 18-hole Gary Player signature golf course.

Boca Chica has the 9-hole San Andrés Country Club, conveniently located for a half-day's golf with plenty of time left over for the beach.

Right in the city of Santo Domingo is the Cayacoa Country Club designed by Peter Dye, just a 15-minute drive from downtown.

The Santo Domingo Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 beautiful course with scenic views and sloping hills for a challenging round.
